Intended Use:

The Scrub Typhus IgG/IgM Test Cassette (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a test based

on fluorescence immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Scrub Typhus IgG/IgM

antibody in human’s whole blood, serum or plasma specimen, as an aid in the diagnosis

of scrub typhus infections.

Principle:

The Scrub Typhus IgG/IgM Test Cassette (Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) detects IgG

and IgM antibody to Scrub Typhus in human whole blood, serum or plasma based on

Fluorescence Immunoassay. The sample moves through the strip from sample pad to

absorbent pad. The Scrub Typhus IgG/IgM in the specimen will be combined with the

Scrub Typhus antigen that has been conjugated with fluorescence microspheres and

the combination will be captured by IgG/IgM antibody coated on the membrane. The

more IgG/IgM in the specimen, the more fluorescent microspheres will be captured on

the membrane. According to the fluorescence intensity of the test and the standard

curve, the concentration of Scrub Typhus IgG/IgM in the sample can be calculated and

reported by the analyzer.
